It hugs the rocky outcrop on which it is built, leaning against the old Castillon castle. Its structure presents a remarkable homogeneity and points of interest such as the "Perrier" castle, bridges, 18th century mansions, a church housing a Baroque altarpiece and a 20th century hall with a "troubadour" style pepper watchtower. .

The house has stories to tell. It started as a hotel for horse traders in the 18th century, it has been a cafe, a shop, a private residence and a Chambres d'Hotes.

In 1961, the building was portrayed in the French film "Tout l'Or du Monde", starring Bourvil and René Clair.
